Megan took a long and winding road to become a board-certified Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner. She has two undergraduate degrees, one from Tufts University in Boston and one from Montana State University. She obtained her master’s degree from Maryville University in 2020. Before getting her master’s degree, Megan worked for 10 years in acute care nursing, with the last 8 years in a critical care step down unit. She has special skills and understanding for working with adult and geriatric patients. She excels at caring for them during their acute disease processes as well as helping them navigate what comes next regarding their health. Megan has a passion for helping patients and families understand what health issues they are experiencing, as well as helping them to navigate the steps needed when those chronic diseases progress.
Megan is married and she and her husband currently have three beagles. In her spare time, she volunteers with Seattle Beagle Rescue, spends time with friends and family, and loves working out. Now that she has more time, she enjoys reading and hopes to be able to travel more.
